Will There Be A Part 3?

I have to go to Los Angeles next week for work and have just discovered that I will be no more than 8 to 12 miles away from western end of Route 66!

I figure one evening while I am there I can grab a taxi and check it out. Most people tour the Mother Road stretch-by-stretch. I seem to be doing it intersection-by-intersection...and not in geographical order.

Tonight's assignment: Study my Route 66 books for addresses for the different termini (there are at least 4 from various alignments) and get a Los Angeles and/or Santa Monica map to plot the best route to the Route.
