Dad and I just watched the program Nature on PBS. The episode tonight featured one of my favorite places on earth, the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
In every scene of the public areas of the Aquarium they showed, I could picture myself walking around. How I miss that place and how I miss Monterey.
I've often thought that once I hit retirement age, I will retire to Monterey and live out my days. I will walk the beach, I will volunteer at the Aquarium, I will learn to scuba dive. Sigh.
Some days (and after watching tonight's program) I think..."F**k it, I'm leaving tomorrow."
