I would assume these political nominees (I can't quite convince myself to call them 'leaders'), who supposedly have our best interests at heart, are even minimally educated and could figure this out.
I am so effing sick of political attack ads. Hey, Mr. Coleman, Mr. Franken, Mr. Obama, Mr. McCain, Ms. Palin:
Don't tell me why I shouldn't vote for the other guy. Tell me why I should vote for you.

Really? I am so glad to see Al Franken striking back at the Republicans. For once a Democrat is actually taking real shots at the radical right, and he's doing it well.
Sure, they could say what they stand for, but then they're in danger of ostracizing a voter or two.
