T featured prominently in last night's dream. Odd. I haven't thought about him for a very long time, let alone dream. I don't know that I have ever dreamt about him.
We were at a house. His? When he suddenly got in a...romantic mood, let's say. So we retreated to the basement and under the covers of a bed. Unfortunately, the bed was in plain view of the stairs leading down to the basement. T's mother came down the stairs looking for something before she and T's father went out. I hid under the sheets and T directed his mom to wherever the whatever was. She left, and we resumed. Then his various sisters and brothers came down before they left. I didn't hide this time (they knew about us) but we covered ourselves up. They left. Alone at last. Suddenly, during an extremely intimate act, the cleaners made their way through the basement and past the bed. However, they hardly noticed us. They did pass a few words about the weather with T, then left. T and I got out of bed and decided to take a walk outside. We dressed in t-shirts and jeans and went outside (I'm not sure how we exited the house from the basement). Outside it was sleeting and cars were sliding every which way. A car slewed into the ditch right in front of us. The driver got out and started to shout at us. T reached down, picked up a half-full beer can from the road and threw it at him. Nailed him right in the forehead. The guy yelled back at T and told him what a great throw that was. I suggested that we go back to the house and go back to bed since now we would be all alone. T smiled at that and we headed back. As we got into the house, he unlocked the door to his mother's art studio as he wanted to show me something. In the studio were projects by her art students that were to be entered in a contest of some sort. He wanted to show me a wooden boat/canoe sculpture-thing --it was very ugly and had one of those female figureheads like you see on old-time galleons. The figurehead also kind of resembled one of those Russian nesting dolls. The thing that made T mock the boat was that the front of it was somewhat, um...phallic shaped. We turned out the lights and left the studio.
And that's when I woke up. Weird.
