Typical

So I ran up to Barnes & Noble to pick up a $6.99 paperback. That was all. No more, no less.

I came back with the paperback, a hardcover, a DVD, and a 2-disc CD.

So much for budgeting.

How very typical. Sigh.

So this is the same dilemma I run into every time I go to Half PRice books, as posted on my blog. What is it about books, movies, and music?

You know, to me, they represent an escape from the world. So is it that you and I both want to get any from our "real" lives so much we're willing to spend all the money we make? I suppose I am. I find it much easier to spend the money at Half Price Books than at B & N, though. Cheap prices make it seem more legal.
