Steef and I Saw The Movie 'Milk' Last Night...

• Sean Penn deserves, at the very least, an Oscar nomination. Not once did I think "That's Sean Penn playing an historical figure." I absolutely believed in his portrayal.

• It very much inspired me, yet I felt powerless at the end. In which direction do I take my inspiration? How do I act on it?

• Everyone in California who voted for Proposition 8 should be completely ashamed of themselves. Completely.

• I wonder if Barack Obama has seen/will see this movie. What did he/will he learn from it (if anything)?
