Well, I'm off and running. Have managed to stay a couple hundred words ahead of my goal each day. Brojas! (That's Varanian for 'Great!')
I wrote at Wilde Roast cafe on Saturday (Day 1) for three hours and it just zipped by. I wasn't even aware of what time it was until I looked at my laptop's clock. That's gotta be a good sign, yes?
Steef has been incredibly supportive and excited for me. This is no more than a fun activity for one month straight, but he's being such a cheerleader--I'm pretty sure it's helping.
(By the way, M and Mrs. M, if you're reading this, he's cheerleading for you two, too.)
Wrote this afternoon at home and will actually have time later tonight to write if I decide to work on it some more.
