Tried new "Diet Pepsi Lime" today. Ho-hum. Not good, not bad, but I don't think I will try it again. I like D.P. Twist because there is just a hint of lemon; it is a compliment to the cola taste. In the Lime, the lime flavor overpowers the cola.
Saw 2 episodes of the new Doctor Who series this afternoon (the 2-parter Aliens of London and World War Three). Wow. Way cool. When the new opening sequence came on, I thought I would wet my pants. I must admit it is very different in style and tone from the original series, and this is a good thing. I'm anxious to see more episodes to get a better feel for the series, especially the first ep (these two were the 4th and 5th eps). The story of this 2-parter was pretty good, just a tad too jokey IMHO and too many fart jokes (don't know why the British love them, God bless 'em). But still---it's a new series and all involved are obviously doing their best to make it a good 'un.
Mark will be here this week, on business for Wells-Fargo. He's not staying with me, but we will be meeting for dinner on Thursday. It will be good to see him. Think it will be the first time I have seen him since I was in Seattle for the Erasure concert in 2003. I might invite him along Friday night to my birthday movie--I'd really like M to meet him. Don't think it will happen though, he has tentative plans to head out to his parents' cabin and spend the weekend with them.
