I like these day-trips. Okay, this one has turned into a 2 or 3-day trip, but still.
Visited Grandma and Grandpa at the cemetery. Wandered the University bookstore, bought a postcard of the Ralph for Sue.
Drove out to Devil's Lake and wandered around. Drove past the house on 7th St. Toys and bikes strewn about in front yard, chain-link fence closes off driveway (must have a dog?). Quite a bit of development around the Highway 2 area. I suppose to attract people travelling through to or fro GF and other parts. Had a pretty good sandwich at Old Main Street Cafe. Curtis' house/office looks like it is now a duplex.
A very nice drive out and back. A little sunburn on my left arm (the one I hang out the window while driving), have a faint watch tan-line. Listened to lots of Erasure during the drive (both ways)--very good for calming and relaxing. And dueting.
Back to GF and at Public Library for blogging.
